Good value for money. Lovely quiet location. It wasnt our first choice of the resorts but we were offered this as an alternative and it wasnt at all disappointing. Friendly staff, our caravan was situated right near the amenities. Food was good and fairly priced. Swimming pool was good although a little busy (it was October half term).Dog friendly.A safe and easy walk away from the beach. Fun finding fossils and skimmers on this beach!Rooms were clean on arrival. Once the heating got going it was lovely and toasty!
Lovely place to stay especially if you get a nice caravan like we did. The food wasn't great but the entertainment was amazing they did loads of things for the kids everyday and they had a wrestling show one day which was really good fun! The park is enclosed and good for any age. We had a 1, 2 and two 4 year olds with our group and they loved it there and there were also lots of other slightly older kids there too. They also have lots of space for team games if that's your thing and outside gym equipment. The pool is nice but we always had to wait about 10-15 minutes so be prepared, it gets busy. There's a little flume which younger kids will like but perhaps not adrenaline junkies. When we went it was freezing despite them saying it was 28degrees. The next day there were engineers so we guessed it was broken. It was nice and warm on a previous occasion so I don't think it's always cold like we experienced. Our caravan was new and in the Solent breeze area. It was modern, bright and spacious for the 8 of us. However, it wasn't that clean when we got there with sheets on one bed dirty and bedding missing for the sofa bed despite us booking for 8 but we phoned reception and they sorted things immediately and were really helpful and gracious. There was also a little park by our caravan so kids could play whilst we cooked and didnt have to walk very far. We had a really great time.
This was our fourth visit to the park, and we couldn't be happier with it. If you're wanting a holiday where you can sit and relax, the surroundings here are perfect. There's plenty for the kids to do; we barely saw our the children (aged 14, 12 & 10) as they were always out, mainly swimming but also playing football with other kids. It's a great base for discovering the delights of the Isle of Wight, of which there are plenty, as everything on the island is easily accessible and no more than about 30 minutes journey away. Can't recommend this place enough - already looking forward to going back next year.
The caravan was sufficient, the veranda lovely, great shower. The beds and mattresses not great. Unlike other caravans we've been in, this one has no tourist information in the caravan, no leaflets at all about things to do in the area. No information about the on site activities either.
Large park that can get quite noisy with large groups. Paid for 1pm check in but didn't get keys until 2 after went to reception and complained. Cleanliness not great. Found an old pair of socks and crisps in the caravan. Dusty on ledges and who knows when the edges of the carpets were hoovered. Short walk to a quiet pebbly / sand beach that is nice and shallow water perfect for little ones. Lovely pool with baby pool and water slide. Well stocked shop and fish and chip shop.
