I would actually give HK a 4.5 if permitted. As an expat American of 50 years in Britain I can say they do great burgers and are good with steaks as well. It is good value for the money, almost too generous. They have very nice and obliging people working there. I have brought Americans there who thought it was great. In sum I think it one of the best and most reliable places in Cowes. It is also good for a coffee and cake.

A seemingly small but very well set up and staffed premises (didn't use the upstairs seating though but there are bigger tables there).
Fab, friendly, welcoming place. Nice food, good drinks. Only little thing, burgers need to be more rustic homemade and offer, rare, medium to really impact on flavour.
Best burger in Cowes, hands down. Everything on the menu is spot on, I have worked my way through it over the winter. I have mainly been with my baby daughter and can really recommend it as child friendly. The staff have always been super helpful. A variety of seating is available including a coffee table and sofas, so quite a good spot to stop for coffee and take a load off with or without the kids. Coffee is top notch too.
